Live TM mode is enabled by default. To check this, open the tm.properties file and make sure that the value of the 

enable_live_translation_memory 

property is true.
  
enable_live_translation_memory = true

If you want to disable Live TM mode, set the same property to false, save the change and restart the Idiom Service for the change to take effect.
