Summary	Idiom Legacy Filters have been discontinued more than 10 years ago and are not supported anymore. Idiom Legacy Filters always include the name Filter in their names (instead of the recommended File Types), so they are easily recognizable just by looking at the name. Moreover, the word "deprecated" has been appended. While Legacy filters are no longer supported, they can still be used also in version 11.7.x and later. They can be found under Management > Linguistic Tool Setup > File Types and under the tab Legacy Filters:

While Legacy filters are no longer supported, they can still be used also in version 11.7.x and later. They can be found under Management > Linguistic Tool Setup > File Types and under the tab Legacy Filters:

While File Types can only be modified in Trados Studio, existing Legacy filters can still be configured/changed in the User Interface. However, no new filter configurations can be created. More information about how to configure these filters can be found in this article:
