Symptoms/Context
With the Online Editor server configured to use TLS protocol version 1.2, when opening a file in SDL Online Editor I receive the 401 (unauthorized) error.
Resolution
Upgrade to SDL WorldServer 11.4. or later where TLS 1.2 is supported. Follow this the instructions provided in this article for more information on how to enable TLS 1.2 after upgrading to a WorldServer version where this version is supported..
Root Cause
SDL WorldServer Online Editor version 11.3 and lower do not support TLS 1.2 protocol version, they need TLS 1.0.
