RWS has partnered with Adobe to create Translation Connectors which will be made available in one of the core products: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
RWS are supporting AEM plug-ins for two core SDL products:
- Translation Management System (SDLTMS)
- World Server (SDLWS)
These plug-ins are going to be a tight integration between Adobe AEM and SDLTMS/WS all using native product APIs.
- Adobe - Translation Integration Framework (TIF)
- SDLTMS - Content Transfer API (CTA)
- SDLWS - SDL WorldServer Remote Connector Framework
- New version for AEM 6.3 will be created using Mantra API and WS RestAPI
The plug-ins will integrate with the AEM User Interface and the need for separate tools to extract content from AEM and push it to SDLTMS/WS will no longer be required.
