If option "Automatically re-open previously edited documents" at File > Options > Editor is enabled and Studio is shut down with Editor view active, following error "Invoke or BeginInvoke cannot be called on a control until the window handle has been created" is displayed upon startup and the documents are not re-opened.

NOTE!  The error message and the below workarounds are only specific to Trados Studio 2017 and not for Trados Studio 2019 nor 2021.

To avoid the error message above, use the following workarounds:

Workaround 1. Go to File > Options > Editor and disable the option Automatically re-open previously edited documents

Workaround 2. Update your Studio 2017 SR1 CU8 version to latest update version where the issue has been fixed.
