When logging into MultiTerm Online using a valid username and password, you get the following error:

Restart the Trados Application Service on the Trados GroupShare application server.

Clicking the Login button several times rapidly causes the Trados Application Service on the Trados GroupShare application server to get into a state where it stops accepting requests from MultiTerm Online. This issue has been reported to our development team as a defect (CRQ-17623) and it has been fixed starting with Trados GroupShare 2020 SR1 Cumulative Update 7 - build  15.1.7.10168, (released on August 4th 2022).
