Multiterm Extract 2019/2021 hangs during Extracting terms phase when installed on Windows 10

Symptoms/Context

Multiterm Extract 2019/2021/2022 does not work if installed on Windows 10 with the latest versions of Java (261 and previous).

Instead of extracting terms, it just hangs. After canceling the project, the program can only be closed from the Task Manager.

Resolution

Tested successfully on Windows 10 version 1903 and 1904:

1. Please go to C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\SDL\Dependencies and install jre-8u111-windows-i586.exe.
2. Please uninstall any other version of Java that you have in Control Panel.
3. If the issue persists, please reinstall Multiterm Extract as well.

Root Cause

This has been identified as a defect and it was reported to development as CRQ-21202.
