Solution 1.
To make sure you have the latest file version, the translator that initiated the duplicate version needs to
Check Out \
Check In once more, until a new version is created.
Solution 2. Take the correct version of the .sdlxliff file stored on the GroupShare server
Note! The path where the files are stored is visible in the
GroupShare Console > Settings > File Storage
1. From the
GroupShare WebInterface, select your project and take its project ID

2. On the GroupShare application server, go to the file storage path and search for the folder with the same ID as the project ID
3. Check for the .sdlxliff format files which are basically the bilingual files generated after each
Check In action. Each file begins with a GUID followed by the actual name file.
4. Search for the file that is the equivalent of the first duplicate version. Check by date and size as they do not include the so-called version that is visible in Trados Studio.
If your server is hosted by RWS, please raise a support case providing the project name and ID for us to be able to retrieve the correct .sdlxliff file version.
