Symptoms/Context
When logging into Customer Portal using Google Chrome, you see the following message, and are logged out:

You have been signed out of RWS ID.
To continue, log in again.

Resolution
 

Enable Third Party Cookies

  1. Click the menu in the top-right hand corner of the Chrome window and choose Settings.

  2. Select the Privacy and Security settings on the left.

  3. Select Cookies and other site data.

  4. Under General settings, select Allow all cookies (or Block third-party cookies in Incognito, depending on your preferences).

  5. Close the setting tab in Chrome and log into Customer Portal again.

An alternative solution for those who cannot enable all 3rd party cookies because of internal or security policies: whitelist the following sites and add them to the security policy:

eu.auth0.com
sdl-prod.eu.auth0.com
sdl.com
cloud.trados.com
Root Cause
Customer Portal requires third party cookies to be enabled or it will not work correctly.
