When you try to create a new project in Trados Studio, an error message appears:

Cannot apply a default project template
Your version of Trados Studio enables you to create projects in up to three target languages

This issue occurs because the Freelance license allows only 3 target languages at a time: https://www.rws.com/translation/software/trados-studio/editions/.

Please reset the default template as described in this article: https://gateway.sdl.com/apex/communityknowledge?articleName=000004918. Before doing so, please make sure that there is no more than one Default template in File > Setup > Project Templates; if there are more, please remove the other ones.
