Symptoms/Context
When trying to create a Return Package in Trados Studio, the following error message is displayed: The required package convertor, 'Sdl.TranslationStudio.Packaging.Convertors.WorldServer.WsPackageConvertor', to generate the return package is not installed. |
Resolution
1. Download and unzip the WorldServerComponents.zip file that matches your Trados Studio version from the Attachments area at the bottom of this article.
2. Close Trados Studio 2021 3. Double click on WorldServerComponents.msi which you have unzipped at step 1 to start and finish the installation. It will finish very quickly and silently. It will also replace any earlier versions that were previously installed on your computer. 4. Reopen Trados Studio. In the Home tab, you will now see a new button called Create WorldServer Return package which you can use once you are done with your translation. |
Root Cause
The WorldServer Compatibility Pack plugin for Trados Studio is not installed. |
