A user can log in with every available login method. Token login is one of the available login methods. So if a user is logged in using IDP/PKI card and is creating a token login, he can log in with the token as well.
The Link for Login is not designed only for users that do not own a card reader (let's say users that work on a device such a smartphone) since only a few customers are using a card reader. Originally, it was implemented to prevent a login every time you want to use it. E.g. you can save the token URL in the browser and can open Kalcium Quickterm directly without need to enter the credentials |
