Symptoms/Context

Republish content with metadata in Tridion Sites 9.5/9.5 and it fails on the committing step with an error as seen in the Deployer log:

You have to unpublish and republish as a workaround.

Resolution

On premise hotfixes exist to fix the issue:

Tridion Sites 9.5: CD_11.5.0_31171
Tridion Sites 9.6: CD_11.6.0_31557
