After installing Trados Compatibility and Migration Power Pack Version: 17.0.4.51 on clients Trados Studio 2022 17.0.5.14757, Studio will not open and give the error message: 'Sdl.TranslationStudio.AlignmentEditor.IAlignmentEditorService' failed to start

We managed to solve the issue by installing the correct version of the Compatibility Pack (version: 17.0.5.62) for the clients version of Trados Studio 2022 (CU 5). The user in this case had the Compatibility Pack version 17.0.4.51 for Trados Studio CU4 while the user had installed Trados Studio 2022 CU5.

You can see below the correct corresponding version for the Compatibility Pack and for the version of Trados Studio you have: 

Version: 17.0.5.62 - Trados Studio 2022 (CU5)
Version: 17.0.4.51 - Trados Studio 2022 (CU4)
Version: 16.2.8.1889 - Trados Studio 2021

Wrong version of the Compatibility Pack was installed for the version of Trados Studio.
