Trados Enterprise: Aprimo connector fails autentication with 500 error code "The server encountered an error whilst processing your request. When seeking help please quote the following...."

Symptoms/Context
When enabling the Aprimo connector, Trados Enterprise cannot complete the Aprimo authentication, A 500 error code is returned when viewing DevTools (F12).

Resolution
Aprimo authentication is made following the step from this documentation. 

Note: at step 3 a token is generated, also used as the password.

In addition to the registration setup, the token needs to be generated in the specific user account setup for the integration (not the admin account). It is generated via the My profile route > Token > ‘Generate route.
Root Cause
Incomplete registration step.
