When publishing the project from the Trados Studio to Trados GroupShare while the Trados GroupShare Organization name contains a special character (Ex: "&"), gives the below error:

You don't have the permission to publish a project to this location. 



OR

The specified project name is already in use in the current server location. Please specify a different project name.




 

The issue has been raised as a defect: CRQ-32906 and the development team is working on it.

Workaround 1: Creating the project in Trados GroupShare Web UI does not give any error even if the Organization name contains a special character.
Workaround 2: Rename the Organization name to remove the forbidden special characters. Please make sure to not have any checked out project files. This might cause later issues.
