Kalcium QuickTerm: Error message when trying to edit a term - ElasticSearch is read only. Please contact your system administrator

Scope/Environment

Symptoms/Context
The user cannot edit a term and the error message is displayed:

ElasticSearch is read-only. Please contact your system administrator.
Resolution
  1. Before starting this procedure, it is best to check whether Kalcium is currently in the process of importing the termbase, since for starting a new import process you will have to wait for the previous import process to be completed
  2. On the application server machine stop the ElasticSearch service
  3. On the application server machine, delete the folder C:\ProgramData\Elastic\Elasticsearch\data\nodes\0 where ElasticSearch seems to store temporary data

  4. Restart the ElasticSearch service
  5. Import all the termbases again (System configuration > Module settings > Termbases)
