Resolution

Term Recognition works as expected in Studio 2022 SR2 CU9 or earlier versions regardless of whether the Sublanguages are set or not on Termbase.
Also, the problem has been fixed in Trados Studio 2022 CU11 and not reproducible in Studio 2024.

Please note that in Studio 2022 CU11, when the Source language is Japanese or Korean, the term recognition is now working correctly even if Termbase does not specify a Sublanguage.
However, for Chinese source language, it is necessary and a common practice to use Sublanguages in the termbase as it’s important to be able to distinguish between simplified and traditional flavours.
