Symptoms/Context
While trying to use the DeepL Translation Engine Provider, on a project, in Trados Studio 2021/2022, the following error message is displayed:
"GetGlossaries" failed: Forbidden
Resolution
The solution is to use Trados Studio 2024.
Root Cause
The DeepL Translation Engine Provider API key is a V2 one. While using Trados Studio 2021/2022, only DeepL Translation Engine Provider V1 API keys can be used. And there is no option to select V2 like in Trados Studio 2024.
