When working in the Trados Studio 2024 Editor, you may notice that some of the keyboard shortcuts are not working (e.g. using the Enter key to add auto-suggested entries or tags from QuickPlace). The shortcuts under File > Options > Keyboard Shortcuts are all correct.

Please check what user profile you are working with under File > Setup > Manage User Profiles.



If you have the Trados or the SDLX profile selected, click on Change user profile, select Do not back up, overwrite my current settings in the next step, then select the Default profile from the drop-down list and click on Finish.

Some keyboard shortcuts do not work in Trados Studio 2024 when using the legacy profiles (Trados or SDLX). These profiles will be removed from future versions of the application.
