WorldServer - are the Explorer applications delivered with version 11.5, 11.6.1, 11.7.3 and 11.8 compatible with each other?

We have upgraded from version 11.5. to 11.6.1. or 11.7 or 11.8

Can WorldServer users who had installed the Explorer application delivered in version 11.5. keep on using it? Will they be able to access Explorer in version 11.6.1 or 11.7.3 or 11.8 . with it? Are the Explorer applications delivered with version 11.5, 11.6.1, 11.7.3 and 11.8 compatible with each other?

The Explorer applications delivered with version 11.5. is not compatible with WorldServer versions later than 11.5. Please uninstall Explorer from your computer and install the Explorer application delivered with your current WorldServer version, i.e. 11.6.1. or 11.7.1.

The same applies for the Explorer applications delivered with version 11.6.1. or 11.7.3 or 11.8: they are not compatible with version 11.5. should only be used with the corresponding WorldServer version.

Note: you cannot have more than 1 of Explorer installed on your computer. You must uninstall one version to be able to install another version.

After installing Explorer on your computer, you will find it under Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features. Make sure that the Explorer version associated with your WorldServer version is correct:

WorldServer 11.5 > SDL WorlServer Explorer 11.5. or 11.6.1
WorldServer 11.6.1 > SDL WorlServer Explorer 11.7.0
WorldServer 11.7.3 > WorldServer Explorer 11.7.3
WorldServer 11.8 > WorldServer Explorer 11.8
