It has been reported when using the Job Quote function in SDL TMS that there are cost discrepancies with that of Cost Band Costing.
Resolution
Change User Preferences so that the correct amount of decimal places can be viewed in Cost Banding Cost
Navigate to My Details in SDL TMS
Select Edit > User Preferences
Change Decimal places to the required amount
4. Navigate back to Cost Band Costing and observe the more accurate costings, which account for the discrepancy
Root Cause
The cost matrix algorithm for the selected cost model uses both 2 decimal places and 3 decimal places. The user has set their preferences to not include 3 decimal places.
