WorldServer 11.7.x - not possible to schedule a report with Jasper Report version 7.9 - Menu Tabs are missing in the User Interface

Jasper Report version 7.9 is delivered with WorldServer 11.7.x, as stated in this section of the RWS Documentation Center.

However, with this version, it is impossible to set up a schedule for a report. As described in this article, when scheduling a Report, these Tabs should be visible and should be selected to complete the configuration:



However, in the latest Jasper Report version, those tabs are missing and hence, reports cannot be schedule:

While there is no workaround for WorldServer version 11.7.x and Jasper version 7.9, this issue is fixed starting from WorldServer version 11.8 which is delivered with Jasper version Jasper 8.0.2. In this version, a new schedule can be created by right-clicking in the relevant report, selecting Schedule and then creating a new schedule:



An existing scheudle can be modified:




and by editing an existing schedule, you can modify its parameters as needed and save the changes:
